Dalmiya Group will be responsible for maintaining Red Fort for 5 years.
Responsibility for the maintenance of the Red Fort for the next 5 years, according to the deal would be Dalmian Group. For this, he has given the government Rs 25 crore. Red Fort has become the first corporate house in the country, which has adopted a historic building.

The Central Government launched the Adopt A Heritage Scheme in September last year. Hundreds of historic buildings across the country were marked for this. These buildings include the Taj Mahal, Kangra Fort, Sun Temple of Konark and Sati pier several major sites.

Dalmia Group, Ministry of Tourism and Archaeological Vibagke between was signed on April 9 this contract. According to this contract, the Dalmia Group will have to provide basic facilities in the Red Fort within 6 months, which include amenities like drinking water, street furniture and so on.
