Weekly Battle Challenge: Wave Runner!

This is the entry post for "SHARE YOUR BATTLE Weekly Challenge! Wave Runner" contest. You can also participate in this competition if you want even if you don't have theme card.

The summoner I used for this battle is Alric Strombringer. This summoner can increase your monster magic damage by 1. So this summoner is very domineering in low level matches.

I chose my monsters in the following order:

I make my images in 1600 x 900 pixels.

Below are the some explanation about my line-up.

Wave Runner has two abilities in level 5. First ability is Reach and second ability is Knockout. So Wave Runner can attack enemy tank from the second position and it can also Knockout the enemy at the same time. It is very compatible with Medusa which has stun ability. And Wave Runner is also good to counter the splinter with armor. Its speed is higher than Sea Monster so he will attack first and remove armor of the enemy tank. In this way Sea Monster can unleash his full power attacks. For other magic monsters I want to get damage boost from summoner so I chose them accordingly.

I also want to get splash damage from "Ruler of the Seas" and speed boost from the Spirit Miner. My strategy is to fight my enemy face to face so I chose the monsters that only attack the tank. No sneak or snipe monsters is in my team. For Mermaid I chose her for her speed and high magic damage.

My strategy works and I got a winning battle. I will use with Demented Shark together with Wave Runner when I have rule like Melee Mayhem or Sneak.

I like Wave Runner because of its reach ability and knockout ability. Electric Eels also has the reach ability but I can get extra Knockout ability by spending one more mana. This worths especially in a high mana match.
