A throwback picture
High School days--
the beginning of the complete turn around in my life. I was 14yrs old when my disease started to manifest making me stop schooling and repeat 3rd year. That is why I was included in this batch.
Denial, anger, confusion reigns me. I was able to realize that I was in that situation not until now.
I thought I couldn't finish high school. A week will not be completed without absences. Everything happens for a reason. Looking back I do not know how I was able to overcome my health condition. It was all a miracle. Living a life with a progressive syndrome for 2 decades was a mix of gift and curse ( wag nyong kwentahin ang edad ko).
Acceptance is the key to still have a happy life despite the indifference. It is an everyday battle managing 23 different diseases. It is not over until I am breathing.
One big fight here I come. I completed another half of a year so full of ups and a lot of downs. And half year more to win.
As famous line goes," lavan lang"
Thank you kapatid #Melai for these picture. Toothpic days.
