Emancipation and Gender Equality

I want to speak out about women wherever you live. In a seminar about women, I convey this to all seminar participants, most of whom are women.
There is a saying "women are the pillars of the State". I personally interpret the expression above as "a woman in the frame of emancipation".

When we talk about emancipation in Indonesia in particular it is impossible not to include the figure of RA Kartini, a Javanese aristocratic woman who had revolutionary thoughts in her time. Of course, the birth of this emancipation thought and movement cannot be separated from its background and reasons.

As we know, emancipation is a term used to describe gender equality, as well as other equal rights. Meanwhile, in the emancipation frame I mean the first is a process of releasing women from a low social position which limits the possibility of women to develop forward in all areas of social life. And, the second views women as whole human beings.

Like men, women also have human rights. Both have the same rights, burdens and responsibilities. The author gives an example to explain it, functionally women have the right to take part in advancing their nation, for example in judicial and socio-political positions, even though having rights does not mean that it is obligatory or mandatory, but seen from the aspect of benefit.

It may be a condition that demands the appointment of some women certain age, for certain problems and in certain conditions and situations. If a woman becomes a director, head of a foundation, minister of social affairs, or something else, there's nothing wrong with it as long as it's really needed. With a note not to forget their domestic nature too, such as cooking, taking care of children, etc.
