Red Rocks

So today being the last day of 2018 couldn't really sleep anyway. I decided to head up to Red Rocks amphitheatre to climb some stairs and do some reflecting.

It was pretty early when I headed up, about 5ish.
Red Rocks sits close to the town on Morrison.

I decided to go now since this will probably the warmest part of the day. I will park at the top.

No flip flops today. It is freaking cold.

You can see a few snow flakes but its ok.

Ready set walk down climb up. I didnt really allow for the wind chill. It got really cold really fast.
Daylight is coming... there will be no sunrise..
None of that fake Colorado sun....

There will not be a lot of stair climbing today..
Here are some little birds that are vocally opposing the cold weather.
