ASKING FOR HELP CAN BE DIFFICULT
Hello everyone your welcome to my blog today
I think it’s natural to expect help in return from the people we help if we face trouble. But in that case, the person should be capable enough to offer a helping hand, as help should be done when one is capable enough to help.
We can’t expect help from a person if the person faces any problems in helping, even if we helped the person in the past. But still, I feel that it’s good not to expect anything for help if possible. It does not matter how powerful we are, sometimes at some point of life we need to become helpless because of the situation.
In such a situation we can ask for the help of others, but most of us hesitate, asking how in this present world was supposed to be easy in the past? Why do people now hesitate and think too much before asking for help?some people grew up being a provider. They've never experienced dependency, and this becomes programmed in them.
They don't ask; they may prefer to die in silence because they've programmed themselves to be the provider and giver rather than the receiver. I have seen a few people like that who never ask because of this programmed mindset. Unlike the people mentioned above, this kind may later start to ask on a few occasions if they meet people who genuinely show them that they need others as much as others need them.
Some of these people might have been humiliated, abused, or suffered rejection while seeking help. Those who are privileged to be blessed sometimes believe they shouldn't give out alms without gaining something in return—it can be as menial as reverence, or more. Once someone who is privileged feels as if their conditions are not met, they make the one asking feel worse than they were before meeting them. Such people rarely seek help again from anyone, no matter how much they're suffering.
