Nigeria’s unique traditional food dishes follow the West African culinary culture. Nigerian cuisine uses spices and herbs as well as palm oil or groundnut oil to make their special sauces and soups. Their dishes are always colorful and diverse which makes the food very special and worth tasting.

Of course, listing the best Nigerian food dishes is a subjective process, but here are the most famous and delicious dishes worth mentioning

Edikangikong: This is a vegetable soup made of Ugwu (pumpkin leaf) and Gbure (waterleaf), spinach can be also used instead, with a mixture of meat and fish. Edikangikong is without a doubt a soup you want to taste.
