Hades on Mobile?

When I saw this app on the Apple store, first thing that came to mind is the game Hades. The look and feel of the game not to mention the artwork & graphics is similar and in a good way.

The Game

The Game is a hack and slash action RPG having the Norse mythology as its central theme. It is a free to play game on IOS and as a player you will be facing legendary bosses from the Norse lore including Nidhogg, Fenrir and Jormungandr.

Feedback and Reviews

The game is highly rated on the app store having an almost perfect overall score at 4.9. This is a truly promising game and I just wish that they can provide constant updates.

Graphics and Design

Just a quick look and you would see the design inspiration from Hades. The Hack n Slash aesthetics is truly engaging. The color choices are bright and vibrant which is such an eye candy. I believe this game also supports 60fps which is why it is buttery smooth.

UI and Controls

The controls and user interface is typical to mobile games of the same genre. You have the directional joystick on the lower left while, attack and skills are on the lower right. On higher levels you would gain an ultimate skill. There's 4 commands to select from in the beginning starting of with a normal attack then a special and powerful attack which both have a cooldown. There's also dash which is truly useful in combat situations.

Combat

Skills are required in this game. You need to time your attacks correctly as well as dodge attacks from enemies using the dash button in order to defeat more powerful bosses. there's 5 character s to choose from and hopefully more in the future. The good thing is that the inventory is shared across your heroes making it enjoyable to switch roles. And each role will require you to adapt to a different playstyle.

Pets

Similar to many RPG games, there's a pet system which would accompany you in battle and making your character even more stronger. Up to three pets can be summoned and each one can be evolved and leveled up to be even more powerful.

Characters

There's five different heroes to choose from. You can play as Valkryie, Siegfried, Thor, Ullr, and Freya. Each bringing a different skillset and has customizable builds.
