Plotting my conquest.

Prologue

A week back, I wrote a post about getting back into land. And manifestation works. I got some extra money, so I went and made quite the deal with a Splinterlands-Friend of mine. Two deals, actually. One was a complete plot with cards and totem. One was a combined plot - I bought the totem and the plot of him, and he delegated the cards to me.

Plot 1 - The New Mega Plot

Since I got a Rare Grain Plot, I changed all my high PP cards from the common River to the Rare River to get an extra 10% on those. The result - almost 100k PP! Almost. So close.

But still, 2k Grain (before taxes and feeding) is a great production. Let's say I get to keep half of it (it's more due to the bonus), I'd be at 14 DEC per hour just from that one plot! Lovely.

Okay, I was too curious and went to the BLT:

All the fees are already calculated, that includes the pool swap fee of 17%. If I just hoard the grain, I'd be hoarding 17 DEC worth of grain per hour.

Plot 2 - The Cooperation

We did a little calculation on this one. I bough the plot, the totem and put in the DEC to stake, and my friend was in charge of the cards. 60% of the profit of that plot goes to him, 40% to me. Of course we calculated all that, and honestly, I think I got a pretty great deal as he decided to use Beta RF Legends.

This one makes us around 9 DEC/h, so 5,5 for him and 3,5 for me, give or take. I calculate it each time I harvest and sell. Still a great deal! We're working out more of those in the future. Trust is everything!

The renewed old plot

This one was my former star plot, with all the cards from the first plot displayed. I got all the cards for a pretty good deal, as Beta RF are in a good range at the moment, especially Water type.

It's not the upmost impressive plot, but still a good one - only topped by my plain, that now holds a couple of Beta Epic GF that have a delicious amount of PP. Maybe my next buy will be a Rare Plain...

Conclusion

Right now is a good time to get into land. Plots are relatively cheap, cards are, too (see link list below to find my calculator for that), and DEC is quite low, which makes the staking cheap, too.

I've been upping my personal stake quite a bit in the last weeks and months, whenever I could. Financial situation is still rocky, but getting better, so I have leftovers for my hobby. Getting 50 DEC/h does certainly help, and I will start swapping my grain for DEC on the new plots to save up to acquire more cards and plots, and so on. Hopefully wood and iron get a little pump one of these days...

Meanwhile, Grain is still at a nice price point, and Stone is holding up pretty well thanks to the Land Card. Nobody seems to want the Iron land card, though...
