‘Can’t believe these chocolates are vegan!’
I have a bit of a sweet tooth, particular for chocolate. When I became vegan, I was struggling to find some nice chocolate to enjoy. I am very fond of creamy milky chocolate and found a lot of the vegan ranges too bitter or with a weird aftertaste. I searched for a recipe to make my own and stumbled upon a simple recipe for chocolate truffles using coconut cream and dark chocolate.
I’ve been making these for over a year now and live experimenting with different flavours. My favourites are with freeze dried raspberries 😋 so yummy!
The most common comment I receive for them is ‘I can’t believe these are vegan!’ Which I guess is a compliment based on a judgement that vegan chocolate doesn’t taste that great, but when you try these you realise that it’s just not true!
