The next six months started yesterday

An image of me

What did you do yesterday, what kind of decision did you make that yesterday?

Are you keeping em till you're ready?

You know that whether you are ready or not, the clock won't wait, it will continue ticking.

Time wait for no one as it never asks for permission before it moves, and it certainly doesn't pause because we haven't started.

Yesterday marked the beginning of the second half of the year, meaning that every sunrise from this point forward is another opportunity to become the person you promised yourself you would be.

You cannot recover the first six months, but you can redeem the next six.

What should I do?

°Stop mourning lost time, stop comparing your progress to someone else's highlight reel.
°Stop allowing yesterday's disappointments to become today's excuses.

Instead, make a decision on deciding that the version of you who procrastinated, doubted, and settled will not be the version that finishes this year.

Success is rarely the result of one extraordinary day, that is it's a gradual process. It is built through ordinary days filled with extraordinary consistency.

Six months from now, you'll be standing at the end of the year. You'll either celebrate the fact that you took action when it mattered, or you'll wonder why you waited for another "right time" that never came.

The future you are praying for is depending on the decisions you make today.

So don't just count the days left in the year, make the days left in the year count.
