New YOW Surf Skates Hit the Shop!

Hello Hive Community!

Recently, we've been seeing surf-skates taking over the streets!
Sometimes it's surfers training their turns, sometimes its regular people looking
for a fun, cruisy way to get around -- either way these things are a blast!

The shop recently picked up some fresh surf-skates from Basque Country company YOW Surf and we are stoked!! Check out this little video of us cruising on them and check the boards out on our site:

YOW has their own specialty surf-skate truck with a double axis that allows for speed generation by pumping the board rather than pushing. In this way, the boards mimic surfing quite well. Just like in real surfing, you really have to compress and move your whole body to generate speed or pull off big turns. A little tricky at first but once you get the hang of it you can't stop!!

Plus with their sick graphics, YOW boards are pieces of art! We are defintely stoked to be partnered with YOW and hope to make more surf-skate videos soon!
