Getting Creative in Quarantine

Happy Saturday Hive Nation!

Even life in the country during lockdown can require a little creativity to keep the kids and parents from going stir crazy.

Yesterday, I took the kids for a drive to the sea to check out the boats in the harbor while my wife created an elaborate treasure hunt!

She created a treasure map complete with aged look and everything. Her German-nis calls for going extremely overboard but it turned out really cool!

A treacherous journey through the untamed Deutsch forest led the children to a treasure of a lifetime!

The endless search finally paid off!

The real treasure was the joy on the children’s faces and the paintings turned out nice too!

In times like these we are striving to make good memories with our children and enjoy the time being spent together. I feel that this lockdown has brought us closer together and we are really bonding through the whole experience.
