Haram

in this collage I wanted to represent a word, "Haram"
which in the Islamic religion represents something that goes against its teachings.
Murder is haram, theft is haram, but also consuming things like alcohol or pig is forbidden.🐷

I took inspiration from the boys of Islamic culture who move to the West and are continually tempted to break their beliefs.🥀

Sometimes the situation, not wanting to be outdone, it leads to act against one's will just to follow the crowd.

but what happens if we follow the dietary teachings dictated by Islam?
in this case our diet is "Halal".💆‍♂️
surely the third eye won't appear in the middle of our forehead🤷‍♂️ but surely we will develop the basis for a healthy diet.

when the boy realizes the benefits it brings he will be even more motivated to continue.💪

to make the head I modified the head of a Howard Scott illustration
I wasn't very sure about the arrangement of the bottles so I opted for something simple but impactful.

to recreate the foam created by the bottles I used used bits of clouds from a Lovecraft book,
a small detail that was worth mentioning.😉

for the second illustration, I replaced the mouth using the illustration taken from "The best of Robert Silverberg" and I found the cover of a Gourmet magazine that was right for me🤩.

But I could not find the original file from which I took the multicolored band.😭
I have to learn to keep the collage materials more ordered.😢

In this period i'm very busy in college studies and don't have much time to write my posts on Hive but I will continue posting as regularly as possible!👷‍♂️
