Election aftermath
Did you vote?
Yes?
Well, how do you feel today?
Did the thugs you voted for happen to win? How much do you really expect them to keep their promises? How many of their political positions really represent you? Are you willing to accept personal responsibility for their actions, and be held accountable for your vote? If not, why not? How do you plan to hold them accountable now that they have your vote? Can you really do anything at all except wait for the next election and try again?
Did the thugs you voted for lose? Well, congratulations, you're miraculously "represented" by the thugs you didn't vote for. Doesn't that seem strange? How can you be "represented" by someone who doesn't represent your views?
Either way, how did your vote really matter any more to the outcome than the face-painted football fan has on the result of a football game? And where did you get the "right" to try to impose a government upon your neighbor without his consent?
If you did not vote, thank you for your service. The only winning move is not to play.
