Learning about life in Postmates
Well, today the delivery jobs were few and far inbetween in the area I am in. However, after seeing my tips and adding things up , this would be more than doable if need be. That said here are some things I have learned while being a Postmate:
- Patience. I don't speed and considering I get paaid for driving to drop things up, traffic really dosen't bug me that much anymore.
- Innovation. The app has made my phone camera wonky. That means I have to be innovative about what to do when something goes wrong.
- Confidence. Having to be innovative and patience has made me confident about being able to deal with hardships and set backs and disappointment. Yeah things may get crazy but I believe I can and will make it.
I wish I had known this 2 years ago. My life would have been a lot less stressed and probably more enjoyable. That said, where there lessons I learned over the past 2 years I would not have if I'd know then what I know now?
