Nano Tale - The Assassination

“We ought to kill her. She is a threat to the president.”

“Yes, I concur. But the question here is, how will we do that? She is the first lady.”

“What’s the matter? People have assassinated the president in the past.”

“Yes, they have. But It’s 2018, hard to beat the secret service nowadays.”

“That’s why we are brainstorming, no?”

“Yes, I am sorry. Let’s continue. How about a sniper?”

“Tough to execute but doable. The assassin might not be able to get out in time.”

“Do we care about his life?”

“No.”

“Then?”

“Planning his escape route will further complicate things. We need something clean.”

“What do you suggest?”

“How about poisoning the food?”

“That risks the president’s life as well. Moreover, the secret service has a strict watch on what the first family eats.”

“Yes, you are right. We need something out of the box.”

“Like what?”

“What if... what if the president himself kills his wife?”

“And why would he do that?”

“Maybe he gets to know she is conspiring against him...”

“Writing that would be fun.”
