Tihar festival
Hello friends,
Welcome to my post. Today I am with the second greatest festival of hindu people i.e Tihar or some people say it Deepawali and in India it is called Diwali.
It's my favorite festival. Tihar is celebrated for 5 days. First one is Kaag Tihar which is to worship and feed Crow.
Second is Kukur Tihar which is to worship and feed dogs.
Third day is Laxmi puja ( worship the goddesses of wealth) and Gai puja which is worshiping and feeding cow.
Fourth day is Gobardhan puja that is to worship and feed Ox.
The final day is Bhai tika. On this day brother and sister put tika of seven colours on eachother's forehead.
Yesterday was the third day of deepawali. So I celebrated Laxmi puja with my family. On this day, people make different designs in front of their door with different colours and flowers as in the pictures.
It is the festival of lights, colours and flowers.
