They have 6 pilots in training and 2 on standby. It will take 6 months minimum if they don't miss a day of flight, or kill themselves. After 6 months they need training for 3 more months minimum for air to air combat, and then another 3 for air to ground. The most hilariously retarded part isn't even that, and I haven't seen any MSM talk about it, but it takes over a year and a half to specialize in maintaining the craft and even more to learn to repair certain systems.
