It will take time for Anwar to become PM. Firstly, he needs to become a member of parliament. Wan Azizah has agreed to vacate her for this purpose. He then needs to participate in next PKR AGM and be elected as president of the PKR party. None of this non-elected Ketua Umum nonsense. Then, he needs to get himself promoted to chairman of the PH presidential council. Only then will be have the necessary legitimacy to become PM. Mahathir is not interested in being PM a day longer than necessary; he will be 93 on July 10 and the workload is not fun.
