CABINET | Who are the Indians Eligible to become Ministers?

WHERE ARE THE INDIANS?

So far, there are four Malays and a sole Chinese, Lim Guan Eng, on the cabinet. So, who will represent the Indians on the Pakatan Harapan cabinet? Obviously, they could only come from the DAP and PKR. The most senior Indians in the DAP are Gobind Singh Deo, deputy chairman and M. Kulasegaran, one of the five vice chairman. The most senior Indian in PKR is Dr Xavier Jayakumar, one of the seven vice presidents. Sivarasa Rasiah may also be considered a senior Indian in PKR, although he doesn’t hold any party post.

I bring this concern up as we musn’t marginalise minorities. Everyone’s voice needs to be heard. Tun M had already indicated that his Cabinet will include ministers from Sabah.
