We'll Get There

Dark as the road may be,
Tempestuous as the journey may seem,
We'll get there somehow;
We'll get there just alright.

The winds may threaten the mast,
The storms may sink the ship;
But even in the depths when we're
Drowning, we'll make it just alright.

We were never promised an easy
Walk, neither were we assured of
A cosy cruise.
Those who came before had their share,

We'll have our share as well.
It's a fallen world so what do you expect?
It's a flawed landscape so how can you escape??

Even Christ in His divinity endured
The Cross was served a chunk of life's misery and pain.
This is my greatest comfort in that.

Someday when I'm done with this
World and all its troubles,
I can rest from all the drama that
Bedevils the inhabitants of the earth!
