Xiaomi Redmi 5A launched in China
Xiaomi on Monday launched a new smartphone under its popular Redmi series. Called Redmi 5A, the smartphone is priced at RMB 599 (approximately Rs 5,900) and will be initially available in China.

The Xiaomi Redmi 5A features a metal body with glass front. It comes with a 5-inch display with 720p resolution, powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 processor coupled with 2GB RAM. The smartphone comes with 16GB of built-in storage, which is expandable up to 128GB via a microSD card.
The smartphone sports a 13-megapixel rear sensor with f/2.2 aperture and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. Connectivity options include dual-SIM, 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth, GPS and microUSB.
