Splinterlands Art Contest

Hiii guys~
Here’s my entry for the Splinterlands Art contest. This time I decided to draw one of the new cards and I chose the “Musa Saline”. I chose this card because he had so much charm so I wanted to see how the female version would turn out. I tried to sketch a feminine girl with a mesmerizing look.
When everything was done, I noticed that on the card he had some marks on his face and body so I added them at the end.
Choosing the background color was kind of hard. I wanted something to go with the other colors and in the end, I chose a different shade of her skin color to paint the background. I also changed some color tones so it would have some kind of harmony.
At first, drawing the hair was a headache because I didn’t know how to draw it or what kind of brushes I should use. After some experiments, I learned how to draw hair and it’s fun again 😄
Hair progress: First, I colored The base color and then started the shading then I drew the hair strings. When I drew the strings I noticed they were looking natural so I used a smudged tool on them and also changed some parts of the strings into gray.
I somehow managed to portray what I had in my mind.
