Nature Nurturance

Here in the Sonoran Desert, we are right now on the edge between a saguaro fruit season that is ending, and the beginning of the monsoon season bringing the rain. I have never been so deeply nourished by nature's abundance like this time! My connection with the land is ever-deepening, and I am feeling like a hummingbird, extracting the essence of it, especially after collecting some of a saguaro fruit juice!

It is so deeply enriching to reflect...
We can look into nature like into a mirror, and everything we look at will reflect our own awareness. Having this perspective is a great practice for moving beyond our ego's, and expanding into the unity consciousness, opening into nature speaking to us through the plant and animal allies. Seeing the simple beauty of a flower in bloom can bring us into our own center, inspiring our unfolding. Also what's very important, it makes us stop in the present moment, moving beyond our mental chatter, so we can have a deeper multi-sensory experience. It's like a great meditation practice, the goal is to move beyond the separation.



We are transitioning also into a prickly pear season, the color of the fruit is getting more intense, creating a very nice contrast. I am looking forward to making some juice out of it too!





Today during my Sunrise hike I was blessed crossing the paths with a gorgeous young bobcat! Looking forward to connecting​ deeper with its medicine at this time.
