Domenica pomeriggio, approfittando della bellissima giornata ho fatto una camminata dalle mie parti, sono salito fino al colle Braida passando dai boschi, fra andata e ritorno circa 10 km.
Tutto fa brodo per rimettermi in condizione dopo una estate in cui
ho fatto, fisicamente, quello che ho potuto.

Mentre dalla strada rientravo a casa mi sono imbattuto in questa lapide, attaccata ad un muro qualunque, dove forse fucilarono dei Partigiani.
A breve andremo a votare, dobbiamo tutti ricordarci che se possiamo farlo e' grazie al sacrificio di tante donne, uomini,
ragazzi e ragazze che scelsero, perche' si poteva e si doveva scegliere, di imbracciare le armi per permettere al nostro paese di riconquistare la liberta'.

Molti di loro sono morti perche' noi potessimo scegliere, in futuro,
da chi farci governare.
Ora che i testimoni di quei tempi stanno scomparendo c'e il rischio che si perda la memoria di quei ragazzi che sacrificarono la loro gioventu' perche' noi potessimo avere una.
Mai dimenticare!

Sunday afternoon, taking advantage of the beautiful day, I took a walk in my part, I went up to Colle Braida passing through the woods, about 10 km round trip.
Everything is broth to get me back in condition after a summer in which
I did, physically, what I could.

While returning home from the street I came across this plaque, attached to any wall, where perhaps Partisans were shot.
Soon we will go to vote, we must all remember that if we can do it it is thanks to the sacrifice of so many women, men,
boys and girls who chose, because it was possible and it was necessary to choose, to take up arms to allow our country to regain freedom.

Many of them died so that we could choose, in the future,
by whom to let us govern.
Now that the witnesses of those times are disappearing there is a risk that the memory of those boys who sacrificed their youth so that we could have one may be lost.
Never forget!
