It is commonly found in forests and primary gardens and Females are large and grow to a body size of 30-50 mm (overall size up to 20 cm), with males growing to 5-6 mm. It is the second largest ball-weaving spider besides Nephila komaci. newly discovered. The first, second, and fourth pairs of paws of juvenile females have thick hairy brushes, but these brushes disappear as the spider matures.
I found this spider one month ago, in the Gayo Highlands. This area has many types of spiders. The shape of the spider in this area is large. At that time I saw this spider in the spider web. Then I took some photos using my cellphone. And here are some photos of spiders on Gayo Mountain
