Butterfly Mandala | Creative Sunday

I love mandalas, I am a Muslim, although I have heard many times and from many people that mandalas are traditional Hindu drawings.They use to make it as part of many of their festivals for example Holi. In their Holi festival, Hindus use to make a beautiful mandala in the middle of their yard, which represents one of their traditions, and I am very happy to share the tradition of my neighbors. I always love mandala art so much I thought to make my favorite drawing for creative sunday so i make a butterfly with my mandala drawing.

I always like black and white medal I don't use many colors in it because in my opinion its beauty is only in its design. I accept colors enhance the beauty but I only like black and white mandala. Reason is I feel like the hard work that went into it is only shown by their original colors.

When we edit them in and add some colors, its beauty is hidden behind the colors.

So let's continue our mandala art.

MATERIAL

To make it first I used a lead pencil to make a rough outline of the butterfly, then I highlighted it with a marker and with a pointer I drew every part inside it I means every small details, I did all this sketch paper.

Process

First, I developed a clear vision of what I wanted to achieve. Thinking of butterfly shapes and mandala patterns, I started sketching.

After the sketch, I created the detailed design. This step was especially important because every line i choice mattered. To adapt the mandala patterns to the butterfly shape, I experimented with different shapes by using compass 😮‍💨

This step was time-consuming, because I wanted every little part to be accurate and beautiful. Special attention was paid to the accuracy of every line.

Finally, I reviewed the artwork and corrected all the flaws. This step was to ensure that the artwork was completely finished and maintained its beauty and quality.

Each line serves a specific purpose and tells beauty of butterflies throughout the artwork. I hope you will experience the same love and care I put into creating this artwork.
