Travellers keep arriving and leaving. This month so far this is the third guest who has come from outside the city. I really like to go to the airport to say welcome to a guest. Surely this is excellent hospitality to go to the airport to receive them.

For the past three weeks the coming of guests has been going on. The first guest arrived in Quetta from Baghdad when I heard the news I thought I would definitely go to welcome him. The second guest came from Australia and I thought I should certainly welcome him too. The third guest came a few days ago from Karachi city.

Two are my relatives, and one is my friend and nephew. I do not look whether someone is a relative or a friend whoever is close to me I must welcome them. Besides, every religion strongly stresses valuing and respecting guests.

One more thing is famous about guests: when a guest comes to your house do not worry that your provision will decrease. Rather, God sends the guest with his provision. And another thing: when a guest comes into the house, he takes away all the bad things from the house.

So who would not want to value guests and show them hospitality? And a good thing is that in our culture guests are very important — especially when they come from outside the city.

On Friday our respected elder came from Karachi to Quetta. Some of us friends planned to welcome him at the airport. Quetta Airport is about half an hour’s drive from my house — that is, by car it takes 30 minutes.

Four of us left in a Vitz car toward the airport and after 25 minutes we reached the airport. When I looked at the announcement list there were still 30 minutes left for the plane to land.

Meanwhile I thought that while the traveller arrives I will take pictures of the beauty around the airport. Quetta’s airport is not very big but it is certainly beautiful. On one side there is a garden where there are colorful flowers and plants; on the other side there is a canteen for the travellers’ convenience.

That day the weather was also very pleasant: broken clouds covered the sky and a cool breeze was blowing. On one side there was the sunset scene which I thought I must surely save on my mobile camera. I took some pictures and I hope you will like them.

After 30 minutes the traveller arrived, he was welcomed, and we returned home. One of my most memorable moments is when I take a traveller to his home.

hum 4 dost vitz gaaadi per airport ki taraf rawana huvay and 25mnt kay baad airport phonchay, jab announcement list ko deka toh abi 30min baaqi tah jahaz ko land karnay kay liye.

issi doran mene socha keh jab tak musfir phonchta hai mei airport kay aas paas mei jo khobsorti hai uski tasaveer bana leta houn. Quetta ki airport ziada bari nahi hai lekin khobsorat zaroor hai. aik taraf garden hota hai jaha per ranaga rang kay phool or phoday hai, dosri taraf canteen hai jo musafiro ki sahulat kay laye hai.

uss din jab hum aye toh mosam b bohot khushgawar tah, tootay badal asmaan ko geray huvay tay orr tandi hawai chal rahi ti, aik taraf suraj doobnay ka manzar tah jo mene soch lazmi mobile cameray mei mehfooz karu. mene kuch tasaveer banaye hai orr umeed karta houn pasand aye hoga.

30 minute kay baad musafir phocnhay, unka isteqbal kiya gaya orr wapas ghar ki taraf rawana huvay, meri yaadgaar lamhat mei se behtareen lahma yahi hai keh jb kisi musafir ko uskay ghar tak phonchata houn.
