These days, the All Quetta Football Tournament is happening in the stadium and the top 16 teams are part of this tournament. Teams from all the city is eligible to participate in this tournament. Elimination will be from the first round and only 8 teams will go to the next round.
The Vice President of MWM was invited as a special guest and we also went with him. Usually, I donโt go to watch many matches because of a busy schedule, but today I had to go with the special guest, so I got a chance to watch the match and take some pictures.
Often there are three famous grounds which are used for tournaments and for different matches to be played. Qayum Papa, Yazdan Khan and Maali baaagh stadium which are the famous ones and also have huge and beautiful grounds.
Qayum Papa is a very big stadium and it has a capacity of around 5000 people. Fans can watch the match from all four corners, but the main area is the pavilion where you can easily see the players, and all guests are invited to sit there.
This stadium is very near to Sabutai Hotel where we often drink tea. The environment is very good and there is greenery everywhere which makes the place more beautiful.
Today we were invited to the stadium and were part of the event with the special guest. We were about 11 people with the guest, including some security guards. When we reached the stadium, the match was near half-time, and after 5 minutes it was half-time.
As soon as half-time started, the speaker called the special guest and we went towards the ground. The environment and view were very nice, and I kept watching and thought to take some pictures. I started my photography, the guest kept meeting the players, and I kept taking pictures.
He shook hands with every player one by one and then we got a chance for group pictures. It was a wonderful time where I saw myself with the players and got to see them closely and meet them.
It was very amazing to see the players from very far and to meet them one by one. There were different players from different nations but the Hazara team was the one which I did support because it belongs to my nation and I know the players who are my favorites as well.
After meeting the players, we were taken to the memorial room where photo frames were placed all around. In this room, all the pictures taken since 1947 were kept. Memories of different players were in this room, and very old memories were present there.
The special guest kept looking at the memorable pictures and I used the chance to take some great pictures which are now saved in my camera. The good thing about this room is that there was no empty space left where there is were no pictures. All sides were hang with picture frames which makes this memorial room even more beautiful.
To watch the second half of the match, we went back to the pavilion. As the match started, tea was arranged for us and along with it some bakery items were brought as refreshment. It felt very nice to see such great hospitalityโon one side the match atmosphere, and on the other side the evening tea doubled the fun.
During this time, I tried to take some great pictures to share with you all. Hazara Football Club won this match by 3 goals, and Jahangir Football Club did not score any goals. I hope you liked the pictures and enjoyed it a lot.
I hope you find this post interesting and I hope you will like it. If you like the post, please leave feedback in the comments section so that the next one will be even better. Thank you for sticking with me until the end.
