India’s Mobile Gaming Revolution
Do you know India's gaming industry is the fastest growing in Asia?
With 590 million gamers in 2024, India has projected to reach a revenue of 66,000 crore INR by 2028. But here's what most people miss. 96% of these gamers are on smartphones, not consoles, not PCs. Why? Because a rupees 50,000 PS5 doesn't fit everyone's pocket. Yet, barely anyone's focused on making the mobile gaming experience better as still we play on the same old devices with just a slightly better perfprrmance.
The Indian Gaming Industry could use something called Headshot. It turns your phone into a full-fledged console with no battery, so no extra charging. Just plug in and play anywhere. It supports over 500 games, all curated in one app, so you don't have to search. It can be said that this is basically a Smartphone Dock that enables new features in your Smartphone so that you can gain a slight advantage in Gaming.
These upgrades matter because India's gamer base is set to grow 343% between 2017 and 2027. Far outpacing China's 21%. And with that kind of growth, this space isn't just for gamers, but for coders, designers, and storytellers. Don't forget the fact that it is also a hub where new tech and new Games will flourish the most and make some people Millionaires in the process.
So, what do you think about this Upcoming Industry in India and the Potential of The Industry in India?
