A memory of a winter morning / Wspomnienie zimowego poranka [ENG/PL]

To cool the current heat in many parts of Europe, I decided to show something wintery today.

Na ochłodę panujących aktualnie upałów w wielu częściach Europy, postanowiłem pokazać dzisiaj coś zimowego.

That day I woke up early in the morning and couldn't fall asleep. I accidentally glanced at the weather radars and it promised that the conditions could be very decent. So I went to the lake with the camera.

Tamtego dnia obudziłem się wcześnie, nad ranem i nie mogłem już zasnąć. Przypadkiem zerknąłem na radary pogodowe i zapowiadało się, że warunki mogą być bardzo przyzwoite. Wybrałem się więc z aparatem nad jezioro.

The conditions at the blue hour actually turned out to be excellent. I got what I really like, which is the beautiful colors of the clouds illuminated by the sun already just below the horizon.

Warunki o niebieskiej godzinie faktycznie okazały się być znakomite. Dostałem to, co bardzo lubię, a więc piękne kolory chmur podświetlonych przez znajdujące się już tuż pod linią horyzontu słońce.

The surface of the lake's water was bound by thin ice sheets that reflected the colors of the sky in an interesting way. I tried different perspectives and positioned myself in different places in search of the most interesting shots.

Tafla wody jeziora skuta była cienkimi płytami lodu, które w ciekawy sposób odbijały kolory nieba. Próbowałem różnych perspektyw i ustawiałem się w różnych miejscach w poszukiwaniu najciekawszych ujęć .

It was quite cold that morning. There was no snow at all, but there was a smell of winter frost, although I would not say that it was annoying.

Dość chłodny był ten poranek. Śniegu nie było wcale, ale czuć było zimowy mróz, aczkolwiek nie powiedziałbym, że był on doskwierający.

The sunrise took place behind the clouds, and its light quickly went out, shortly after this last photo. These warmer colors appeared literally for a few moments, after which the clouds had to block the light of our star.

Wschód słońca odbył się za chmurami, a jego światło szybko zgasło, krótko po tym ostatnim zdjęciu. Te cieplejsze kolory pojawiły się dosłownie na kilka chwil, po czym chmury musiały zablokować światło naszej gwiazdy.
