With whom BitPay is integrated?
The BitPay payment processor has announced its integration with the ShapeShift exchange to provide instant Bitcoin exchanges to Bitcoin Cash. This announcement was made in a blog post on Thursday, January 18 The new association allows users to make changes between Bitcoin (BTC) and Bitcoin Cash (BCH) in the BitPay and Copay portfolios.
Bitpay, based in the United States, was founded in 2011 and is one of Bitcoin's largest international payment gateways. ShapeShift is a cryptocurrency exchange platform that focuses on instant exchanges between a number of cryptocurrencies.
The integration allows users to "switch" between Bitcoin and Bitcoin Cash instantly, increasing the level of integration between the markets of the two currencies.
Bitcoin Cash is a Bitcoin fork launched on August 1, 2017 to increase the size limit of blocks in the block chain and, by extension, the number of transactions that red can process each minute.
Since its launch, BCH has been adopted by a series of major digital currency exchanges such as Coinbase, Bitfinex, Bitstamp, Kraken, ShapeShift and others.
