They're burning books in Tennessee.
The Christian pastor (and all around crack-head) responsible for organizing this is one Greg Locke. There is inescapable irony in his sharing a name with one of the founders of the Enlightenment.
I don't believe in the Christian "afterlife", but I wish I did. I like to imagine this stain on reason and decency spending eternity being forced to read, re-read, and memorize the works of that other, more illustrious Locke.
