Life's synchronicities!
This is a funny memory to pop up just now..
The couple that I bought my place from, and who live on an adjacent 5 acres, came up for a visit and to bring me some amazing homemade seasonal sweeties, and ended up spending 6 hours here, chatting, drinking some wine, eating some pot stickers! We rarely get together, but they are definitely like old friends who just pick up where we left off, no matter how much time in between.
We got to share a lot of stuff together, I learned some more history about this place, and about them, and they about me. Feeling very blessed that I have such lovely neighbours who have always assured me that they have my back, no matter how much time between getting together!! And, interestingly, we are pretty much on the same page about everything!
Seven of them living together at their place, their four teenagers and the girlfriend of the oldest, and they all get along and live life to the fullest! That said, I think they each enjoyed getting away for awhile and being able to act like teenagers themselves!
We had fun!
