Syrian Ambassador to the UN on the Negative Effects of US and EU Sanctions on Handling Covid 19

Syrian ambassador to the United Nations Dr. Bashar Jaafari talks during the latest virtual United Nations Security Council meeting explaining the suffering of the Syrian people due to the illegal inhumane US and EU draconian sanctions against the country and the negative impact it has towards the health sector in the country.

Dr. Jaafari refutes the allegations by the EU, especially the French ambassador that medical items are exempted from the sanctions and calls on the EU to explain how to import those medical items if the EU blocked all trades with Syria and imposed sanctions on the Syrian banking system, shipping, and all sorts of trade?

Areas under the control of United Nations designated terrorist groups are exempted from the US and EU sanctions, that should tell a lot on who sponsors those terrorist groups the likes of al-Qaeda Levant aka Nusra Front aka HTS, Turkestan Islamist Party, ISIS... etc.
