Visit the city's cattle market.
I'm speaking from the city's cattle market.I was thinking this morning that I would share something different with you today. The most common thing nowadays is cattle markets and the buying and selling of cattles. There are now cows, goats, sheep, camels throughout the country. However the first choice of the people of this country is cows. There are now bustling cattle markets across the country. The main purpose is Eid ul Adha.
Eid-ul-Adha is one of the biggest religious festivals of Muslims.Cattle markets are held across the country on the occasion of Eid-ul-Adha.Devout Muslims sacrifice animals to please Allah on the occasion of Eid ul-Adha.Billions of dollars worth of cattle are being sold in the country on the occasion of Eid-ul-Adha.It can play a major role in the country's economy because a large portion of the leather from here is exported outside the country. What is the history of animal sacrifice?
Why is animal sacrificed on the occasion of Eid al-Adha?
There are several religions in the world and each religion has its own unique practices. The largest religion of Muslims is Islam.Their Qibla is the Kaaba in Saudi Arabia. The animal sacrifice that is performed on the occasion of Eid al-Adha, one of the main religious festivals of Muslims, has a long history. However I will briefly outline some of it.This is not just history, it is a message from Allah. We know that Allah Almighty has sent many prophets and messengers throughout the ages to spread Islam.
Allah Almighty sent Hazrat Ibrahim (AS) as a prophet to spread Islam. He was born in the city of 'Babel' near Basra in western Iraq.Of course he came as an important message for Islam. And it all happened according to Allah's plan. His son also became a prophet and Allah Almighty sent him as a prophet. His son's name was Hazrat Ismail (AS).Allah Almighty only tells Hazrat Ibrahim (AS) to sacrifice his beloved son as a test.So Ibrahim (AS) cannot disobey Allah's command, so he takes his son for sacrifice and stabs him in the throat.
That was just a test from Allah. When Ibrahim (A.S.) put a knife to his son's throat, Allah's command came immediately so that the knife would not hit Ismail's throat and Allah (S.W.T.) immediately sent an angel to Ibrahim (A.S.) and a lamb was sacrificed. And Ismail survived and the lamb was sacrificed. From there, our holy Eid-ul-Adha and animal sacrifice began.
With Eid-ul-Adha ahead, cattle markets are bustling across the country, so today I join you from the cattle market.
Thank you...
