REMINISCING FOUNDATION DAY: DAY 1

Hello, Hivers! How are you? Im back with an exciting blog today! Last week (November 18, 2024), it's our school foundation day, consisting of 3 days of celebration. And this is what happened throughout my day.

It was crowded and many students prepared for the bench yell, and of course I also participate in the bench yell in our department (psychology program). I was so excited but, at the same time, nervous. Since a lot of individuals watched us, what if they judged us? But anyway, it was a splendid activity, and it was my first time joining this program.

BENCH YELL

I would be honest, we look good in here😄. Our voice was loud, and at the same time, we enjoyed our performance. It was my first time joining a bench yell performance, and I will treasure every moment that I encountered during our foundation days. And after we performed, the volunteers on the bench yelled and gave us snacks and water💝. I appreciate those individuals who gave us snacks since we went to the colosseum at 7:00 AM in the morning.

We had 3 days of practice😅 but we managed to make those 3 days memorable and have a good posture in doing the bench yell. We also placed 4th. We did not expect to win that place since there's a lot of performers who are nicer than ours. But thankfully we placed since we also give our best and shout the words that come from our mouth.

PE DEMONSTRATION
As the day goes by, after lunch at 2:00 PM, it is now our PE demonstration. I was nervous all the time since there's a lot of individuals who watched. But we gave our best so that we performed nicely in front of many individuals.

This was the aftermath of our performance; I don't have a picture of us dancing. But believe me or not, we won!! We are 3rd placers in our PE demonstration, and I was proud of our team. We gave our best and fulfilled our imagination like we placed.

We have a trophy. And I am very proud of my teammates since they gave their all. And I hope we have a victory party soon😅. We had a lot of fun since day 1, and I hope to have best teammates next school year like them. We may argue at the practice session but still manage to fix those fights since we are all one.

SYNC AND SLAY

The event started at 8:00 PM, and this was my first time attending a foundation day in the evening, and yes, my mother was mad because I went home late😅. So in this event, it has a duo singing competition and a "Gaya-Gaya" contest. And yes, we also won in these competitions. We won 2nd runner up for the duo singing competition and the championship for the Gaya-Gaya contest🤩. I never imagined that we would win every part of the event. And I had fun with shouting for our department and supporting those who participate in the event as part of the program💝. I will always treasure every moment of this event because it was my first time joining this kind of event.
