52. A cake from my daughter as a gift

52 years are over. Is it a lot or a little? It seems that only yesterday I went to school, then to university, then the Army, marriage, children appeared.
And somehow, quite imperceptibly, they began to call me Uncle Sasha. and then Grandpa Sasha.



My youngest daughter baked this cake for me today. I left for work early in the morning, and she woke up and started making this cake.


A cake made by my daughter's hands is not a cake that was bought in a store and made from various preservatives.




Quite unexpectedly, today at work, all the colleagues from the company came into the office and began singing all sorts of admiration for me, praises about me.
I don't really like various praises in my address. It makes me feel embarrassed.
And how do you, friends, feel about praise in your address? Do you like them?

The birthday candles are extinguished. We need to move on to the cake sample. I understand what the top of the cake is made of, I know what the base is made of - this is a cookie. But what's in the middle? It turned out-cottage cheese, sour cream, gelatin and sugar.

My mother was a professional pastry chef. She made cakes. They were all sponge-butter cakes. They were delicious, but... She was a professional and prepared cakes on professional equipment in a special institution.
I tried homemade cakes for the first time in high school. It was my future wife's birthday and she made this cake.



Later, my wife often prepared cakes for the holiday, but this was her recipe. They were delicious.
And then the eldest daughter started making cakes. And these were different cakes to taste. And now the youngest daughter has started making them! And I'm glad of it.
