Why ProChoice is not Progressive

I am disappointed by the fact that being pro-abortion or should I say #prochoice (that’s the more sanitized term – isn’t it) is so high up on the political agenda of The Left. I don’t have any expectations of those who espouse right-wing values because The Right overwhelming seems to support selfish, blood-curdling and inhuman policies. However, it saddens me that many progressives (who supposedly stand for a humane, just and fair society) continue to support abortion, an obviously barbaric practice.
