Sam Hyde on Debt, Homeownership vs Bitcoin

I know many of us, myself included, dream or have dreamed of owning a home but in this video Sam gives us "the talk" about property and something your real estate agent may not talk about.

It is essentially owning an asset which we get taxed for life (property tax). He then contrasts this to digital assets such as Bitcoin which owned in truest sense as long as you have the private keys. That's a beautiful thing about crypto.

As one that is personally paying a mortgage, it does seem the forever taxing as a sort of scam that I have to pay for something that I own for the rest of my life and could be thrown in jail if I fail to do so. It is indeed buying into slavery. 📎
