I once thought adulthood meant people would be honest when feelings changed.
Not dramatic. Not perfect. Just honest.

We didn’t meet in real life. We met through posts, comments, and quiet understanding.
At first, conversations flowed naturally. No promises, no labels—just presence.

Over time, things shifted.
Replies came later.
Words became shorter.
Not rude, just… distant.

I kept asking myself questions.
Was I overthinking?
Was he busy?
Or was this simply how adults end things now—without saying it?

One day, I noticed he was still active. Posting. Commenting. Engaging.
Just not with me anymore.

There was no argument.
No goodbye.
No clear ending.

And strangely, that was the hardest part.

Not being left—but being slowly excluded, quietly and politely, as if nothing ever existed.
