Early Evening Walk In A Cold Snap

Spring has been postponed apparently.

Which way to go? I'll take the path to the right.

Need I say it was fucking cold.

The wind was blowing from the southeast but it was still freezing. I had to be careful not to drop my lenses with my stiff fingers onto the rock that I was standing on.

Nice house if you can afford it.

I walked a little further to find a spot to shoot the opposite shore. The branches were always in the way. But somehow they nicely frame the main subject which is the cape on the left. Then you notice the houses on the opposite shore and the mast in the center.

This is a small public beach.

Only a a few days ago it was too hot to walk around wearing a winter coat.

This one is relatively new. It was built a couple of years ago.

Back to my car. This is the same crossing as in the lead image.
