Unexpected bliss!
Greetings dearest hivers, how do you spend most of your Sundays?
Sunday for me is usually a day of rest and reverence. My mornings are blessedly spent in church, and my afternoons are for my salsa. After Sunday dresses, I snuck into my most comfortable pajamas and slept the afternoon sun away. But today, in an unexpected turn of events, I had a joyous time spent in the coolness of the sea and the warm laughter of my favorite people.
After the Sunday service, I had lunch with a few of my friends, and then one of them brought up an unexpected birthday celebration they're throwing for that one friend who lives one block away from our boarding house.
We got so excited and agreed immediately. We prepared our things and headed off to the planned location. The place was perfect; we had it all for our own at the price of 200 pesos. We didn't have time to cook food, so we just straight up ordered some on our way.
These friends of mine are studying at the same college as me; however, because of different schedules, we rarely even meet. Although we have different courses, different dormitories, and different personalities, it's amazing how nothing changes a bit when we're around with each other. It's like you never have to translate yourself with those people who always get you, and I'm so happy I have these kinds of friends. I can just be comfortable showing off my truest and most genuine self.
The afternoon was pure bliss— we played so many games, sang and danced through different songs, and talked about a variety of topics, even just for a given short period of time.
We didn't even noticed the passing of time. We stayed at the beach until the sun set and decided to call it a day. We walked a little till we found a tricycle. You know when the hangout was so good that on your way home nobody gets to talk? That is definitely what happens with all of us. One beautiful day spent well. Thank you for going through my blog, dearest hivers.
