Arashiyama Town is in the far west of Kyoto , hidden along the base of the Arashiyama Mountains which also known as “ Storm Mountains “ . Arashiyama Bamboo Grove is located not far from Arashiyama Town. You will walk pass Kameyama-Koen Park or into Tenryu-ji temple then into the Arashiyama Bamboo Grove. This place is accessible by train, bus, bicycle or taxi which takes about 30minutes.Seems like a long journey but it’s definitely worth it.
