Our favorite Frays updated and Tier considerations - [Splinterlands Guild Brawls]

In June 2022, we last had cause to reconsider favorites for the Fray assignment. Now, with the 193rd brawl, the Fray characteristics have changed, giving us cause to do so again.

For having clear statements of favorites in any particular Tier, in Tier 1 only Fray 1/2 will be a pair and in Tier 2 only Fray 7/8. So those with favorites 5/6 in Tier 1 or 3/4 in Tier 2 will compete for Fray 5 in Tier 1 or Fray 3 in Tier 2. Unless someone has a better idea and finds consensus.

So now there will be the following possible favorites, and any claim within the first 24 hours of the prep stage is valid, provided the account that is ousted does not also have the same favorite and is higher in our score table.

A favorite must be proclaimed before a brawl starts and will be valid from then ongoing, so make use of changing your favorite early. There will be no guessing or anticipation. For declaring or changing your favorite you need to do a clear statement in the guild chat. Not your keys not your statement. And if our Tier changes, your favorite will be valid accordingly. So make sure you proclaim a favorite for both Tiers, e.g. "Tier 1 favorite 1/2 and Tier 2 favorite 4", or whatever you prefer.
