A Painting I do not like!

In my last several paint by number posts, I had been posting progress reports as my painting progressed. But not this time! I hated painting this! In trying to save some money, I bought this Chinese version of a Dimensions name brand kit. The painting was a disappointment and only vaugely resembled what it was supposed to look like.

This is what it was supposed to look lke.

As you can see, the colours are wrong and the detail is just not there. But being persistant, I had to finish this one to determine the final outcome.

Lesson learned! I won't be buying any more Chinese knockoff kits to save a few bucks. It's not worth all the time and effort that I put into painting to get this result, which I will just roll up and stash in a closet somewhere!
