My First Introductory Post On Hive.

Hello Everyone, Good day to you all. I am a newbie here and super excited to be a part of this wonderful hive community.Thank you for creating this wonderful opportunity for me to learn,share my experiences,and to also express myself here on hive.

My name is Aniebiet-Abasi Aniefiok Akpan, and my hive name is @aniakpan. Aniebiet-Abasi is a vernacular name that means "WHO IS LIKE GOD". My mum calls me this name often and I do feel happy whenever she calls me Aniebiet-Abasi. I am a young smart, Jovial, brown skinned African girl who is from Nigeria, Akwa Ibom state to be precise. I love the fact that I am a Nigerian and an African. I am not very tall and not very short but I love every bit of who I am and I love the fact that I am growing everyday to become the best version of myself most importantly. I am the last child and the second daughter in the family of five (5) therefore I am the overall last born and I deserve a baby girl treatment. I Love my family members because of how special they make me feel being the last born.

Currently, I am in AFAHA NSIT undergoing my Tertiary Education in Akwa IBOM STATE COLLEGE OF EDUCATION AFAHA NSIT. I am a 200 level student, I am studying ENGLISH EDUCATION in SCHOOL OF LANGUAGES. I won't lie, this degree has been on my neck since I started. I have no peace. I was begging for admission, now they finally accept and now want to finish me alive but I won't give up,I keep going forward.

Before I started university after my secondary School. My mum suggested that I should learn a trade,which I picked interest in going for Fashion Design. Before I knew it I learnt so fast that in a few months of the training ,I started making most of my dresses myself and it was really an amazing time for me.

Life means continuous learning. However, I love it when we can learn with fun. I have done so many things trying to figure out what I love and enjoy doing which I later found out that one thing i can do happily without complaining is cooking. Cooking is one of the things I enjoy doing at home. A woman who doesn't know how to cook well could be seen as a misfit in my culture. I won't say I can cook everything but I'm good at the one's I know how to cook better. I do all the cooking at home, even our native delicacies which require a whole lot of time to prepare.

My Sister @gloreal has been speaking to me about Hive for some time now so I decided to give it a try. So delving in to find out what hive is all about i saw that Hive is a platform that teaches us a lot of things especially to expand our thinking mentality, it gives room for us to be perfect when it comes to writing. I recall how my sister told me how she learnt content creation with hive. I also want to explore the world of Hive too. I want to use my holiday and develop myself too.
I am told I can socialize, express my creativity and crafts, meet friends, and lots more on this platform. I'm ready for all of that. I want to really see myself grow in months to come. I specially thank @gloreal for helping me with getting my first post up here.

Finally, I do not know anything or anyone here. So I put a message across to everyone to help a sister, share knowledge with me and help me grow. I hope my stay here on Hive is going to be an amazing one. I hope it will be worth my time.
