The feathered boys keep coming
Like all of the animals and nature the birds do not know that it is 'lock-down' for the humans. We have not been free to get out and go where we want for a lot of weeks now. But, not the birds, they are free to fly over fences, roof tops and roads.
They are our feathered friends who always come to say hello.
It is the black and white magpies that are the most persistent of the birds these last weeks. The boys come for their meal of meat twice or more a day politely asking saying please I am sure. They always seem to know that they are welcome.
We know it is the boys because of the black and white on the backs of their necks. The female birds are a mixture of grey, black and white.
The magpies either stay by on the grass eating their food -
.
I am sure each bird says thank you. I like to think they do.
Stay well, safe and happy everyone
Cheers and Blessings

A post is not complete without a flower. Always a flower to bring some joy. Here is my flower gift to myself for Mother's Day, it is not possible for any of my adult children to visit so I am celebrating their love with a pretty violet coloured Chrysanthemum Disbud.
