Nature's magical flowers

I am an afternoon walker, it is when I look at flowering shrubs, gaze up at the sky checking out the clouds and greet fellow walkers with a smile and the odd chat. I like walking the same path for a period of time, enjoying its familiarity and never tiring with the magic of nature. Always changing, always interesting and always surprising.

Today much to my delight I saw clover flowers blooming in the grass beside the cement path close to my home. White and pink petals so delicately intricate and artistic. Flowers more beautiful than I ever realised. I never thought of getting up close and personal with clover flowers before.

Further on I came across a lone yellow dandelion growing straight and tall amongst the weeds and twigs, hardy came to mind but still so perfect and pretty thanks to nature's caring touch.

Known as stinking rogers, dandelions are more than stinking flowers, we can eat, drink as tea and we use them as medicinal herbs. How graciously kind are dandelions.

When they grow old they transform into very white feathering puffy balls of seed on the end of their stalks known as 'santa clauses'. I remember as a child blowing on these white puffy balls feeling delighted as they floated up into the sky. No wonder dandelions grow everywhere.

My last little flower I got down and personal with was the hardy enduring flower that I usually find in the sand dunes. Not today! it was growing on edge of the walking path shining brightly yellow caged in by the vines.

I am so glad that I got up close and personal with nature's flowers this afternoon.

Cheers and thank you for visiting my page

ooooooooooooooooooOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOoooooooooooooooooo

What better way for an #alwayaflower girl to finish than with an Australian native flower growing on my 'Blood Orange Grevillea shrub.
